Risk of Heart Failure

Age:
40+
Gender:
N/A

Heart failure is a serious and progressive condition that often leads to hospital stays and can shorten life expectancy. In fact, nearly half of those diagnosed with heart failure may not survive more than five years. It's also one of the most common reasons people over 65 are admitted to the hospital. The main risk factors for heart failure include coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.

Here at Bluewater Clinical Research Group we’re currently studying a potential new treatment aimed at preventing heart failure in people with Type 2 diabetes and other heart-related risk factors.
